Plasma TVs - where to buy?

There are a number of places where you can buy a plasma tv, from super markets like Asda and Sainsbury’s to high street electric multiples like Dixons and Comet to dedicated electronic stores such as Sound and Vision and AJ Electronics.

That was six places taken at random out of hundreds, so where do you buy your plasma TV from? The answer is going to be different for everyone. Each of us is looking for something different. Someone may be looking to buy a Samsung plasma TV at the cheapest price possible, they don’t know which model but they’ve been told by someone that Samsung are the best so they want a Samsung plasma tv. They are not interested in why or after sales service or pre sales service they just want the cheapest.

Someone else will know exactly what they want, they’ve will have looked around, been on the internet to read reviews and participated in forums. In their opinion the Panasonic TH - 42PH11EK - 42 plasma tv is what they want but they also want a 5 year guarantee, they want to be able to order online but they also want to be able to talk to the people running the website as they want to know that they are fully up-to-date as far as knowledge on plasma TVs’ are concerned and they don’t mind paying extra for their plasma tv for the service.

I would suggest that the majority of people looking to buy a plasma tv today will fall somewhere in the middle of the above two extreme statements. Most people will look around, either on the high street or on the internet. They will ask questions on which brand of plasma tv matches their needs. If they are buying from the high street a lot will depend on who serves them as to which plasma TV they buy. If they purchase their plasma tv from the internet it they will be more inline with the second statement in that they know the make and model of the plasma tv they want or the website illustrates the benefits to the extent that they feel confident enough to buy.

As with all decisions on where to make purchases it will be of a personal nature. Plasma TVs are a fantastic product and no matter which brand you choose or from where you make your purchase that decision will be the right decision for you.
