How to choose a tv stand is a question a lot of people are asking themselves these days as many people trading in their old CRT tvs to larger Plasma or LCD tvs.

Not so long ago the only thing you had to know about televisions, when you wanted to buy one, was the size of the television screen. Most people didnt even know that they measured the televisions screen size on the diagonal.

There are a number of places where you can buy a plasma tv, from super markets like Asda and Sainsburys to high street electric multiples like Dixons and Comet to dedicated electronic stores such as Sound and Vision and AJ Electronics

If you want to watch DVDs of your favourite films, you will need a basic DVD player. They are good value for money and will give you a great digital picture. If you want to watch home movies, play Mp3 files, playback files from a USB or SD external hard drive, or record from the TV onto a built in hard drive, you are going to need a DVD player with a few more features.
